The Purpose of the Juvenile Office, as defined in chapter 211 of the revised statutes of Missouri, is to facilitate the care, protection and discipline of children who come within the jurisdiction of the juvenile court.
The Ninth Circuit Juvenile Office strives to provide prevention, intervention and protection services to children, families and the community. The Juvenile Office works with many agencies within and around the nine circuit. We work with law enforcement, schools, children's division, and the general public to address concerns of child abuse and neglect, delinquent conduct, and the status offenses by youth.

Traci McClaran, Deputy Chief Juvenile Officer, based out of Sullivan County
Traci worked for Children's Division for 19 years before moving to the Juvenile
Office in July 2017. She primarily works in Sullivan County and handles all
types of referrals from child abuse / neglect to status and delinquency.
She have been in this field of work for over 25 years and has enjoyed
getting to know the families that she has worked with as well as all of the
other professionals who dedicate their lives to helping kids / families.
